Introduction
The following paragraphs define the Ghana AI Summit and Awards rules (hereafter “the Award rules”). It describes the terms and conditions related to the application and the running of the Ghana AI Summit and Awards (hereafter “the Awards”).
The Organizer
Knowledge Innovations in conjunction with Deloitte Ghana is organizing Ghana AI Summit and Awards.
Participation and Eligibility
The Ghana AI Summit and Awards is open to individuals, organizations, and projects that have made significant contributions to the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Ghana. Participants must comply with all entry requirements specified in the nomination guidelines.
Nomination Process
- Nominations must be submitted through the official online nomination form provided by the organizing committee.
- Each nomination should include detailed information and supporting documentation demonstrating the nominee's achievements and impact in AI.
- Companies and individuals can submit multiple times in different award categories.
- Knowledge Innovations reserves the right to cancel a category if there is no substantial community and partner support and/or fewer than 10 submissions per category.
- Knowledge Innovations has the right to disqualify a participant if they submit incomplete entries, attempt to use fraudulent methods, or do not adhere to the rules.
Last Submission Date
- The last day to apply is December 1st, 2024.
- Knowledge Innovations reserves the right to extend or shorten the application period.
- Companies and individuals can enter the Awards by applying online using the official form. The application must be completed in English.
- Upon approval, applicants will receive a confirmation email.
- Entering the Awards is free of charge for all categories.
Evaluation Process
- Entries will be evaluated based on innovation, impact, scalability, sustainability, and relevance to AI development in Ghana.
- The judging panel will consist of industry experts and professionals with expertise in AI and related fields. The judging process will be conducted impartially, ensuring fairness to all nominees.
- The final score for each nominee will be determined based on SMS votes, online votes, and the jury's evaluation.
Finalist Process
Once a submission is selected as a finalist, a confirmation email will be sent, and optional supporting materials can be submitted, including video links or PDFs.
Finalists will be announced on 28th February 2025.
Awarding Process
- The awards ceremony will be held on 27th March 2025. Attendees must purchase a ticket to join the ceremony.
- Winners will be announced and honored at the ceremony. A representative must be present unless arrangements have been made with the organizing committee.
Composition and Mission of the Jury
Jury members will be announced after the voting period in January 2025. Attempts to influence jury members are prohibited. To prevent conflicts of interest, jury members cannot vote in a category where they have financial ties or participate.

- All nominated participants: Nomination profile page, recognition, visibility on the website.
- Finalists, Silver & Bronze winners: Finalist profile page, visibility, press-release template, finalist certificate, and badge.
- Gold winners: Winner profile page, certificate, badge, and press-release inclusion.
